The sound was great and the picture was great. If we could get them in sync all would be good. All in all, technologically, I thought it was excellent. As I, and others, have said, compared to last years opening night this was pretty flawless. I understand something is either flawless or it isn't but I think people understand. I hope everyone who had log-in issues get them straightened out, as well. Good job, keep it up, get that audio/video in sync and this will be a great run. Good night all, looking forward to tomorrow night.
Peace
Surveyor.

Great first night.

FYI, I have a 4.5 year old laptop, but it still has great performance. It has s-video and a run of the mill video and sound cards, used this lap top the last 3 years on Moogis.

Good news, moogis is coming through even better this year! The hi res even with my s-video cable looks outstanding, best live stream picture I remember.

Second set was very very near perfect, only one quick half sec freeze. First set had one very long freeze that most people had and then 2 or 3 other minor ones.

I (and some others based on the chat) have issues with the audio being about a half second or so ahead of the video. It is really noticable when Gregg is singing, not as easy to pick up when just watching the instruments. Not sure if this is on my end or moogis end.

But bottom line, very pleased with what moogis delivered this opening night compared to the past. And I know you won't stop there and will keep improving.

Thanks.

Once the show started, I did also notice that audio and video were slightly out of sync. I don't know if you guys tried this, but all I did was simply click on the "Hi Res" button again, so to refresh my stream/reconnect to the servers. From then on, all was good... no more sync problems. Maybe I was just lucky, who knows, but I thought I'd mention this anyway... might be helpful to others.

Peace.

I had my windows opened and closed a few times and switched to jam cams and the low res once or twice just to play around with things, but each time I went back to the hi res it was still out of synch. So I guess I was not so lucky. I don't know much about these things. Hopefully there is something I can do to address it, or something moogis might do to make it less likely....I don't know.

I am just on cloud 9 - thank you ABB and thank you Moogis!
Here's my little report:
No problems at all with the quality of the audio or video, both were very high and that was awesome.
Unfortunately they were out of sync (~>1 sec) for most of the show. They did get much closer together, about 2/3 the way through the show, but only briefly. It seemed as though somebody was trying to fix it, but the signals just kept drifting apart.
I tried multiple computers, both pc and mac, and every browser on them - others have also commented on this issue, so I don't think it's me- if it is I'd love to know how to fix it!
I'm just basically wondering if I need to setup my own audio delay/manual syncing. I think I probably will just to be safe, but is this a problem that y'all are taking steps to correct? If so, Thank You!!!
